What’s next?

Sitting here listening to the bird noises (I would like to say bird song but there is too many different sounds) As I said in my getting start post, I have hit rock bottom and slipped into a crack and it has me wondering what now! I know the only way is up (as I sing that one line from a song I can't remember the rest of the words too) In my last session I finally got it, the only hand that can pull me out is my own and that scares me due to the lack of faith, well the lack of anything in myself to succeed.

So here I am, stripped raw not a memory left unexplored (that I am aware of) no secrets hidden. Now I get to start again, putting it all back together bit by bit. I know there will be lots of times I may fall backwards but I am hoping that I won't get stuck there.

I did say in my previous reply how lovely it is that your son visits regularly and I think that you are a star cooking like you do. I cook dinner and that is enough for me, don't know how you do it xox

Hey @Bellarose75 I ended up being coaxed into a collaborative Anzac cookie bake off today. It is not something I have ever done or had done around me. but my 2 trays were requested and then a casual invite to bake them, with inside information about how to get them just right. I felt blessed. In many ways I was cut off from my Aussie family side when dad died whenI was 11, so this has been a long time coming.

Your picture was very evocative, especially the 2 crosses. Glad you are here too.

The important thing is that it did take an invitation. The hand needed to be extended. It was my fellow muso disabled and very abled male friend, perhaps becoming a colleague. The last Aussie guy who was around 5 years ago was like a bull in a china shop. It was never gonna work.

Thank you ladies for all the warmth and inclusion. It means a lot to me.

Yes very full on at work and so much to do. Haven't been feeling well so far behind this weekend but need to do what I can today when I can.

@Bunniekins I can imagine a little pea wrapped in a wooly blanket - so adorable and so comfy. Will see what I can do with an image of that for you
