Chat

Why is chat never available? Especially when you need it. Even tried suicide call back and it says not available. Lifeline sucks. Anyone know if I'm doing something wrong? Different way to access it or something?

I can tell you that the chat service is currently up and running and we can see people are having chat sessions at the moment. As for, if you are doing something wrong, I can't say sorry. However if you have been able to get onto chat before I would say you are doing everything right.

The chat function shows as "unavailable" if all counsellors in our Help Centre are currently calls or chats. If you are receiving the "unavailable" message then it will likely be that all the counsellors are currently busy.

Please persevere as we hope you can speak to one of our counsellor on chat soon.

Sometimes the type of browser can be the issue. I use Firefox but chat doesn't work in it. Chrome usually works
