Holiday Hangout Zone!

Hi fellow forum members! I hope you are safe and well. I've decided to create a holiday hangout zone for the next few weeks where forumites can pop in for holiday talk or other non-related holiday talk of Christmas isn't on the to-do list this year.
Maybe you have a favourite thing you like doing over this period of the year that you'd like to share? Or, do you wait til Boxing Day for the sales or cricket and get into the fun of the break? Maybe COVID-19 has totally ruined your year and you can't wait til the year is over to start 2021 with fun and hope for the new year? Whatever you want to discuss within guidelines, add to the list and let's get together online and have some fun!

I'll pop in when I can to see what's happening and to let you know what's going on for me and go from there.

I look forward to seeing you in the Zone!

I think that was best. I find the hype is exhausting and I'd rather spend my energy on the day and enjoy it than watch tv or follow the news etc. We tried a game of cluedo this arvo but the board was way too small. My sister got it from aldi haha

Played abit of poker. Read a bit. Now my sister and parents are watching a film called 21 Bridges which is pretty decent.

Not much for dinner - just grazing all day. Wwe are headed home tomorrow. They have some breakfast provided in the main restaurant/cafe of the resort which is apparently quite good so that'll be nice. Then it's off to home.

As for me, things got to me mentally last night to the point of psychotic symptoms appearing which is why I'm late to the party today. I had a bad session of voices, tears, the lot, yet didn't call out for help for various reasons. I got through it which is the main thing. I also had trouble sleeping so that was a major issue for me but that relates to no meds on Christmas Eve which explains a lot.

Okay. I'm going back sleeping so I'll pop in later. Enjoy the shopping or cricket or other activities you've got planned and take it easy.

Yeah home now hey. Just watching some cricket and googling stuff. Will maybe purchase a set of headphones on Kogan as they have a boxing day sale atm. Will jump on the videogames later on today I think. Off to the driving range tomorrow
