mum is not well to come back home again she will need to stay in hospital
I have put in for permanent care at the local hospital when there is a bed available
hoping she can stay here at our local hospital xxx

@Shaz51 it must be hard to umpire the welcome and unwelcome advice but it's good so many care about you and your mum. They might not realise how hurtful it is. I hope you feel strong and resolute in your good intentions. It's a transition. Supporting your mum to be comfortable and feel secure wherever she finds herself is a whole new (and maybe easier) level of care and thoughtfulness. It's a step forward. Big hugs, and fingers crossed the local hospital bed is ready when she is.

Sorry I haven't been on in a while so I'm only just catching up.

I'm sorry to hear that mum is not well, yet I'm also mindful that perhaps this is an answer for you too.

You have been juggling the thought for a while about the best place for mum. As much as you wanted to respect mum's wishes, you had your health and Mr Shaz's health to consider.

Here's a big hug for you. I just always remember "All things work together for good".
