As many may already know - our wonderful forum friend @Shaz51 recently lost her house in a fire. Shaz51 not only has been the 'keeper of the birthdays' for many years but has also been a much loved and supportive forum member to soooo many here on both the Lived Experience side of the forum as well as the Friends, Family and Carer's side over those years. She builds us up, sends best wishes and love throughout the forum - she gives so much and now it is time for us as a community to rally around her and show that love back.

I know nothing will bring back what you have lost dear Shaz but I do hope knowing you have the community behind you in this time helps to bring a little comfort to you. Love you my sister

I wasn't around here 12 months ago, but, from your discussions, have been aware of your journey, with its highs and lows, since Feb this year. Certainly hope that your progress, while it has no doubt been stop-start and included other personally challenging situations, may be stabilising for you now. Hopefully, some elements of the progress you have experienced may be rewarding for you after such personally world shifting events.

You must also be acutely aware of the situation of others who have experienced similar catastrophes. I would imagine that knowing and hearing of others in such similar situations may, at times, be distressing for you. Hopefully, the cameraderie being offered and received, that rises after calamity, may however, also be in some ways re-assuring.

I admire you and the contributions you have made, through the forum, toward members and the forum in general, after coming through such a difficult period of time.
