My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Yeah sometimes d will help. Sometimes we do some baking. Cookies she likes to make. She is very fussy. And won’t try new things much. Takes after her father 😩

Re: My Mosaic

hey @Bow its great your d likes baking. kids can be super fussy and hard to cater to though.
if she likes cookies and slices, maybe you could make them into shapes? they have heaps in the cheaper shops and ebay to purchase different cookie-cutters to turn your baking into fun shapes. i found when i was working with a younger child, they hated having the crust on the sandwhiches or would only have half but by using fun shapes they would eat them esp if they helped make them

Re: My Mosaic

My case manager was suppose to visit this morning, but sick. Again. A guy came, im not sure exactly what his title is, but he is a psychologist and I’ve spoken to him a lot and I like the way he works, and a mental health nurse came instead. When I seen them get out of the car and it not be my CM I was immediately disappointed, but then slightly relieved that it was him and not someone else random.
He seems to know a fair bit about me and knows what questions to ask. I sometimes think he is better at it than my CM. Like he asked what time I got up and wanted to know exactly what I’d done since I got up. When I said that I’d done exercise he asked for how long, and when I used the words ‘so far’ he picked on that and wanted to know how much more time I intended to exercise for.
He quizzed me about my intake, both food and fluids. He wanted to know why I struggled with fluids. He expressed concern. Over and over again.

sorry just hit that wall of ‘why am I even sharing all of this’ .

Hi @Bow

It sounds as if the right person visited you today and I am glad.

I went in to work to discuss my return and now I’ve been for a walk to clear my head.

Another sunshiny day here in Qld.

Sending lots of love

Why won’t my head and the monster that lives inside it let my body have what it so desperately needs???
