Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

I am so exhausted already!

didn’t really get my meds sorted. The hospital only gave me 7 day supply scripts and they were all private scripts. I managed to get a Telehealth appointment tomorrow with my gp. So I got the one med from the chemist, the rest thankfully mum had some in the safe to get me by until tomorrow.

I just picked my D up from school, she seen me and yelled out and ran up to me. Best feeling!

I’ve already skipped lunch 😩 but I honestly wasn’t hungry.

Re: My Mosaic

Welcome home @Bow 🙂

Returning home after a long time can take a bit of transitioning.

Well done on having something to eat. I acknowledge you didn't feel like it.

Perhaps recovery now is about pushing ourselves beyond our comforts in order to see something 'change'?

Thoughts?

I'm sure your daughter is so happy to have you 🙂

@Bow hope your first night in your own bed went well hon. Sleeping in our own bed is so much better.

Re: My Mosaic

It was so nice sleeping in my own bed @Snowie

Oh boy am I noticing the temperature difference out of hospital! I did not feel cold at all in hospital. I just lived in one layer of clothing. The constant comfortable temperature was nice. But at home…. Brrrrrr🥶 I’ll need to get my oddie out!

I just finished with my appointment with my dietitian. It went ok. I have some goals…. And she suggested that I pull the treadmill apart! I can’t do that.

I have a Telehealth with my gp early this afternoon. I really hope that I can sort my medication out.

Re: My Mosaic

Glad it was nice in your own bed @Bow and no nurses to wake you up early!

Some goals are good, something to work towards.

I hope your appt. with your gp gets your meds sorted hon.

Have a good day
