My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

I seen my psychologist this morning @Snowie and I’m feeling really raw and vulnerable.

I shared what I wrote after my session last week and well, I thought we would discuss it briefly and then move on, but we stayed on it the whole session. Which is fine, but it was really hard.

Hey @Bow

Im sure it was hard sharing what you wrote but well done on having the strength to share! And for having the strength to be able to discuss it for the whole appointment.

I understand you feel raw and vulnerable but you found the strength to do it!

Re: My Mosaic

Sorry to hear that @Bow

Maybe you could email them if you are not up to seeing them. Sometimes it is easier to get the words out too.

I hope your day brightens up

Re: My Mosaic

I have a trauma anniversary in January which I am finding myself getting more and more anxious about already. This is bothering. It’s in January for goodness sake! I need to get through Christmas first! But I can’t control what my body is starting to experience.

Re: My Mosaic

Hi @Bow,

I hope you are okay. Anniversaries that are triggering can be distressing and hard to deal with. I have sent you an email to check in with you. If you could respond when you can that would be much appreciated.

Warm wishes,

FloatingFeather

Anniversaries are hard to deal with @Bow

Unfortunately we sometimes cannot help what our body says to us.

Please remember we are all here for you

Re: My Mosaic

They are horrible @Snowie and I am really struggling with it today.

In my appointment with my psychologist yesterday we did some chair work/ schema therapy and she was talking to my vulnerable child about all the things that happened to me and how it’s not my fault, I just sat there crying and shaking my head. I don’t believe any of the words that she said. I still don’t.

it’s makes me angry. Angry at myself.

how do I get through this again???
