Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Can the MH guy help with your ED? Or is there another MH team member that may be able to help?

Re: My Mosaic

Not really @Captain24 his been around already today. Knows I still haven’t eaten. He asked if I had tried and I said of course I’ve tried.
he then went on to say that they are having an mdt meeting today or tomorrow and it will include the Sydney Ed clinic.
i asked about having my involuntary status lifted and he asked on what grounds. I told him I’m here and haven’t tried to leave. He said the concern is that if I want to leave and still not eating then I could become very sick very quickly. I told him I’m fine being here, I won’t leave. He said he would look into then. So fingers crossed.

Hopefully the meeting including the ED clinic will give some insight into him better helping you

@Bow I can really hear the terrible, intense fear you have around eating anything at all 😞

I hope that maybe you can be accepted to the ED clinic in Sydney... 🤞 💜

Re: My Mosaic

Thanks @NatureLover

The gastro dr that I seen yesterday, who was really lovely, said that that meeting wasn’t happening until Friday - which is a bit frustrating.

I got a new room mate last night. My other one, the young girl with an ED too, she was discharged yesterday afternoon. She managed to eat.
@NatureLover I can’t expressed how frustrated and disappointed I am about the discrimination I have felt the last week or so cause of the size of my body. I obviously don’t know everything about this girls situation, but let’s just say there isn’t much privacy in hospitals when Drs etc come around and just pull a curtain around to talk to you. You do hear everything.
anyways I’m glad she ate and managed to get discharged, it was really triggering having her there.

my new room mate, an old lady. Chats and mumbles to herself a lot. Swears. But thankfully not too loud.

Re: My Mosaic

So your new roommate doesn't have an ED, @Bow ? What about the security, did that go with the young girl, or is it still there?

I am just so sorry about this, and that you're getting substandard treatment because of it 😞 It's just wrong 😞

I'm glad that young girl was discharged - amazing that they didn't think that it would be triggering putting her in with you. I am crossing fingers for you for the meeting on Friday in consultation with the Sydney clinic... 🤞 💜

Re: My Mosaic

@NatureLover No, my current room mate doesn’t have an ED. But she does have dementia, which is sad…. And overwhelming (I think is the right word).

security left when the other girl left too. I did ask to be unscheduled too, but not sure if that happened or not.

I just had a lovely visit from my old pastors wife. They are just back from South Africa, so we chatted about their trip a lot.
