My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Re: My Mosaic

Well I was doing ok, but having watched the news not so great now. What a ridiculous situation. We are in one of the heavily restricted areas and it's just so bl00dy depressing

Re: My Mosaic

@Anastasia I seen the numbers and went and got on the treadmill. I don't see this lockdown ending anytime soon with numbers like that. They gave dates for schools to go back but that depends on whether your areas in lockdown. Who knows when d will go back. It's all shitty. So bl00dy shitty.

the couch with an electric blanket sounds like a nice way to spend the day. I've just had some lunch, toasted sandwich. Made d get off the iPad. She's been on it all morning :face_with_rolling_eyes: not sure what to do with the rest of the day.

Agreed @Bow

Good on you for lunch and exercise. I've done nothing all morning. You've just inspired me to move. Hugs and love. Will touch base later today xoxo

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah I am okish @Bow Already taken prn for the day 😒

Managed to get of my butt and go for a walk with the dog. I promised my psych I would try and walk every day. Have managed 2 out of 3 days so far so getting there.

Have you got much planned for this afternoon?

Re: My Mosaic

Glad to of inspired you to move @Anastasia 😃

@Snowie im sorry that you've needed to take some prn, I hope it helps and that the rest of your day is a little better.

I don't really have much planned. Need to keep d amused, she was on the iPad all morning and is whinging for it back again, but I've said no. This is the reason it disappeared for so long. She gets obsessed with it and her behaviour changes.

it's got really cold here, I'm very tempted to snuggle up on the couch with her.

Re: My Mosaic

Prn kicking in @Bow

Kids do become obsessed with their electronic devices. My kids have screen free time too.

Perhaps could you do some baking with D. Or snuggling up on the couch seems good too.

Does prn make you sleepy during the day @Snowie ?

Re: My Mosaic

A bit @Bow , It makes me spaced out a bit and a bit tired.

I just took some more before as the first lot didn't really work. I think I need to talk to my pdoc and what prn are helping and what isn't.

I just had a bath so that has helped me relax a little. And already in my pj's!

Re: My Mosaic

My gp wouldn't give me any prn, but I'm going to talk to the professor when I see her about some. I think it will help and possible prevent me from doing things that I shouldn't. Of course Mum would have to have control of it and would then know when I'm not ok. Does hubby keeps yours @Snowie ?

ive just had a shower, did a work out and was a bit sweaty. Just waiting for dinner to be ready and then will crash on the couch for the evening.
