I have just had a 2 hour nap @Bow !! I’m not sure what’s up with me but feeling wide awake now.

I like savoury breakfast and today I had bruschetta with tomato, avocado, poached egg and halloumi plus a skinny chai latte. Needless to say I bypassed lunch.

What time does d return?

Oh your nap and breakfast sounds perfect @Eve7 kinda wish I had a nap instead of staring at a computer screen…. But I think the fact I was staring at the pc screen is why I want a nap now. But too late.

d is home about 7pm. Hopefully she comes home in a better mood!

I had a SHEIN and Temu order arrive this afternoon. 3 big bags! Was like Christmas

That must have been exciting to have those packages arrive @Bow I haven’t ordered anything recently as I need to recoup some funds after my trip.

We’re going out for Chinese tonight which is a treat but I am comfortably settled on the couch.

weekend alright. Same ol same ol. Lotsa frustrations in my head. Went to the shops this morning, needed another pair of jeans to take away…. But gosh I absolutely hate shopping for jeans. Just as much as bra shopping! Needed socks too. Guess I’ll probably have to put shoes on most days!
then spent most of the afternoon on the computer. Bro in tas loves his jokes. Always takes a few to tell the chemo nurses. He type up hundreds of jokes ages ago. I’ve got a copy of it and am working on fixing it up and will get it printed up at office works as a book. Was reading some of them, some I just didn’t get, some were stupid and then there were a few I had a chuckle at.

Chinese sounds nice @Eve7 whats your favourite? Will yall just order heaps and then share?

tomorrow….. most likely just a chill day. Will depend on what D feels like. I find that when she’s been at her father’s Saturday, … and school all week, she just wants to stay home on sundays, which I get.

yep, big delivery day. Got D a few pairs of jeans… she grows so quickly and they are half way up her legs! Got myself a couple of puffer jackets…l will send one back. But wanted a light one..l dang perimenopause sucks! My body just runs on hot all the time! I want cold. I want to snuggle in layers!
I also got 100 tiny ducks. I will place them randomly around my brother unit while we are there.. just to annoy him. I think I will also number them, but miss a few numbers so he is forever searching for number 1 but there won’t be one. Hehe

@Snowie not too shabby so far, but I'm practically hugging my oil heater right now 😂 Hope you're keeping warm!

@Bow jeans shopping is something I haven't done in quite some time haha I usually do the op shop thing, and sorta say 'the right pair will find me!' 😋 Different if you have a deadline I suppose!!

My Saturday has been chill, but chilly haha. Excited about enchiladas for dins 😋
