Something’s not right

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

My Mosaic

I like mosaic art, I’ve never actually done any, but it intrigued me. Made up of hundreds of tiny pieces of stone, glass and ceramic. If you look at it close up it doesn’t really look like anything special, if anything it looks like a mess. But if you take a step back and view the whole picture- it’s a master piece. I guess it’s kind of like life. So many tiny parts, some messy if we look just at the one part. Some day i guess I’d hope that the mess of my life will at some point look half decent.

So here is part of my mosaic, bits and pieces kept tidy together 🙂

tagging you @Emelia8 cause you asked 🙂

Think I'll be in bed soon @Bow safe space

Headache, not feeling well, stomach ache, could keep going!

I know you prob have to put D to bed first but could your Mum do it? Or does D prefer you?

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah I get it @Bow

Even though mine are older, it doesn't get any easier.

Sometimes you got to put you first. You want to be there for her tomorrow.

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah @Snowie

@was reminded again today that if I am unwell and struggling to present to ED

sigh

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah I know that feeling @Bow

Not ideal, I know, sitting there for hours, I know

It's hard to put you first. Makes it about 100 times harder with kids involved.

So many hugs hon

Re: My Mosaic

It’s the worst @Snowie especially after taking your night meds.
I got taken in one night after my meds and was made to sit in the ambulance bay with a couple of other mh patients. My meds often leave me pretty queasy and lightheaded once they kick in, so I asked for a blanket and laid on the floor. nurse saw me and demanded that I sit up cause ‘people will see you and make us look bad’. I said no. Threaten me with the use of security. I avoid the place of a night.

what you do for dinner tonight?

Re: My Mosaic

Thats not ideal @Bow

ED and MH don't really go together. They say to go if needed, but just get treated like crap

Besides closest ed for me is 50 mins away. We have urgent care clinic near us but it's got like 2 nurses and doctor on call.

Had stirfry chicken and rice. Luckily it was easy to cook.

What did you have?

Re: My Mosaic

Yeah it’s really not a great place to be eh @Snowie our hospital is a couple of years old, massive rebuild. And there is supposed to be to be this amazing mh ED unit, but as always no staff for it.

we had chicken bao buns. Have your tried them before? Got a kit from Aldi. Thought surely D would eat them. But OMG would have thought I served up a bowl of Brussel sprouts. Oh the drama. I knew she wouldn’t eat all the bits, but I thought the chicken and bao buns. Nope. Eventually got her to ‘try’ the bun…. Half the size of my little finger nail and she immediately screwed up her face. Sigh.

Re: My Mosaic

I have had that kit from Aldi before @Bow I thought they tasted really nice.

I can imagine D's reaction! Sometimes it's so hard to get them to try new things.

Was going to make a batch of sausage rolls tomorrow. Just got to find the motivation to do it.

Have you got much on tomorrow?

The MH unit I've gone to is about 70 mins from our house. Nothing closer
