My CM appointment wasn’t bad @tyme but it wasn’t helpful either. I find her difficult to talk with most times cause she is very quick to invalidate me and what I am currently experiencing. Like today I’m apparently heaps better cause I smiled I just told her that I’ve been pretty distracted this week with lots of medical stuff and I got some good sleep. I tired to tell her about a meltdown I had at home last weekend. It was really hard to talk about cause it was related to my ED and I swore at mum. She didn’t seem to really wanna know. Didn’t ask questions, just left me hanging. I was frustrated. I tried. But yeah, why bother.
I was suppose to ask what’s happening with a psychologist, but I didn’t. Stupid me.

I have finally nearly finished the cupboard I have been painting. It’s tested my patience so much though!

Hearing you @Bow . I'm sorry that you have felt invalidated by your CM. Did the SW go with you? It must be hard to go to these appointments and not get what you were hoping for. I really dont have any answers except that I want you to know that I'm sitting with you. I hear where you are coming from.

As for the cupboard, well done! Is it that green like the table thing you painted?

Nah my SW generally doesn’t come to my appointments with my CM @tyme sometimes if she is available she will come sit with me while I wait, or meet me afterwards. But the two of them, my CM and SW have clashed a bit in the past. My SW is very good at her job and is very passionate and that can come across at times as being a bit pushy and overly assertive. How it all works is basically my SW works for and does what my CM says. That’s where they get all their referrals from , of course my SW can put goals and supports in place herself, but at the end of the days if my CM wants something in place or something done then yeah. But yes, my CM is not at all keen for my SW to be present for our appointments and like once my CM was doing a home visit and we needed to tell her stuff but I wasn’t sure I could do it on my own so my SW offered to be there to help and then when everyone turned up my CM basically did a quick check in and said I’ll leave you to chat with SW and we can catch up later lol. But the other way around… like it’s perfectly ok for my CM to bring another person along and not even tell me about it. That was long sorry.

my SW didn’t make contact today. Which is weird. She didn’t say she was off.

it’s heaps frustrating going to appointments and not being able to talk about stuff that I need to.

haha yeah painting… furniture. It’s an old vintage cupboard, kinda like a kids wardrobe. I’ve had it for years. It’s a lovely magenta colour with gold features. I’ll post photos when I am done

My kitties are good! They were chasing a gecko today - it fell out of my air conditioner!! I had to rescue it haha, they ended up mesmerised by the twitching of its dropped tail. Great defence mechanism!! It sucks though cos I think it takes a while for the tail to regrow 😢

But I can't blame them for acting within their nature, haha.

I don't blame you for not feeling up for a young kitten!! I struggle to fall back to sleep once I'm up so that would not do me much good at all. But hey, could be worth it for all the nourishment to the soul it is to have such a cute little creature around!

Aww you are so sweet! It's nice being thought of haha. I've actually been lucky enough that my partner has a very big washing machine, so I've been doing my laundry at their place recently. Biggest thorn in my side now has to be the dishes 😒 I wonder if they make camping dishwashers...? 🤔😂

oOoOOo more painting furniture? 👀😍 What's this cupboard gonna be? Like for your bedroom or for your D? Is it like, super ornate? You might be able to tell that I love vintage things and antiques and stuff hehe 😉💜

@Jynx It’s fun to what them chase things eh… cats that is. Mr groot isn’t overly playful, his just a chill kinda guy, but every now and then he will find some random object on the floor and chase it around, usually a leaf.

I wanted to ask… you mentioned your kitties were not happy about being inside of a night now, is that a new thing?

I’m still waiting to hear back from the foster coordinator. See how many night feeds it has.

oh that’s good about the washing! They do make smaller benches top dish washers. I remember one of my foster carers had one. She was a single lady, so not many dishes so it was perfect for her.

the cupboard is pink/ magenta with gold features. It’s actually just to store arts and craft supplies lol nothing special. And no one will really see it. So all the effort I’m putting in…. Painting inside, putting wallpaper on the shelves and painting a checkered pattern on the sides of the drawers. And only I’ll see it!
