im currently tube free. I finally went to have my X-ray and the nurse broke it so had to take it out- that was pretty gross! They have to put a new one in though, which means another trip downstairs for another X-ray.

Gosh what a night!

had my abdominal X-ray to see why I haven't been to the toilet in 2 weeks... don't know the results of that yet. Heard one nurse say this morning that she basically doesn't believe it's been 2 weeks. Sigh. Wish they wouldn't do their hand overs where we can hear them. Lady I know when I last went! It's been over 2 weeks.

had my tube put back in which meant another X-ray was needed. Cause they had already given me my night meds I was starting to get sleepy, got sick of waiting so curled up in bed and went to sleep. They ended up using the portable X-ray machine thank goodness and someone came to do it here, no idea what times that was.

then a nurse came in at 3am to restart my feds. That woke me right up. So I lay awake for a couple of hours.

Eventually got back off to sleep and then the cleaner comes around at 5:30 and turns the lights on and does the floors. Thankfully I managed to get back to sleep cause normally I don't. Woke at 7am for the day and feeling so tired.

So that was my night. Will message Mum soon and see how my d is. Hopefully she's feeling a bit better and had an ok night. Thanks @Anastasia @Eve7

I do hope you can get some sleep today. It’s hard overhearing nurses make judgemental comments during handover and it’s quite rude.

I hope you don’t have the tube in for too much longer so your throat can recover.

Your d will be pleased to hear from you this morning. Is she any better?

@Anastasia @Eve7 D is feeling better today. Apparently Mum told her to knock on there door if she needs them in the middle of the night and my d said that she didn't want to wake grandad up. Bless her. She has had such a bad run with colds/flus/ asthma stuff this year. Poor thing. Really hoping she doesn't get worse.

I managed to eat my yoghurt and juice this morning and had curled back up to go back to sleep and my day nurse comes around and want to remake beds and be all on the ball. Sigh. Do I got up and had a shower and tuned in for church online. I'll try for a sleep this afternoon.

Glad D is feeling better @Bow . This is a time that it’s good you live with family as little D can be in her familiar surroundings.

I managed a short nap this arvo and have been watching Netflix and colouring in. I'm about to go for a wander up and down the corridors for a bit.

nice friendly floater nurse is on this afternoon. Not sure I said, but she was doing a placement at the psych ward when I was there. She remembered me and came and said hello. She pops in and chats whenever she is on shift.
