Our experience and stories

Like a new contributor, I too, have found it hard to find help that suits my particular situation. It is a case of

keep 'knocking on the door' and being persistent in what you feel you need help with. Mine is social support

and home visits as I have a mobiity problem of accessing outside help. Advice is not always wanted or

appreciated but my own experince is to hang in there and keep persisting. Hope this makes sense. Wishing

all new conrtibutors the best of luck and well being in life. Warmest regards - Bimby2

Re: Our experience and stories

Hi @Bimby2 that's lovely of you to send these kind words and warm wishes to the new members. That's some great advice you have to offer. If you're interested, please feel welcome to link in with the new members each week in the Welcome Wednesday thread. It's always nice to feel welcomed by the more seasoned members when you're a newbie. Good on you for setting such a great example of what it means to be a part of community 🙂

Re: Our experience and stories

Thank you Mosaic for your very kind words of praise - appreciate same very much. Yes, when I was new to

this forum, it meant much to have one affirmed in the positive, by more experienced members. Hope each

new member will receive as much support as I have been thankful to experience and we are fortunate to

have this forum to express our views and challenges in a monitored way that will help to heal and guide

our MI journey. It can be a lonely road for many of us but this forum sets out to ease this loneliness we

may be going through. Best wishes to all new members and our big group as a whole. xx Bimby2
