Re: Very tired here

Dear Very_tired. Have you seen your Dr to discuss how you're feeling? Being on AD's means you should be monitored, I think you need time off the AD's, to see how you cope. Sometimes too we need the AD's adjusting/changing. Perhaps your body is becoming immune to the AD's and needs checking. I suggest, at this time, you should see your Dr and ask about changing, adjusting, perhaps abstaining altogether to see how you go.

Re: Very tired here

@Very_tired. I agree with @pip. It's best to be monitored by your gp when taking medications. I'd also suggest you ask for a referral to a psychiatrist to get reevaluated.
Have you been seeing a counselor during the past 15 years? I have found a huge benefit in talking with my psychologist about my feelings, stress etc. He is really helping by teaching me new exercises and techniques to minimise stress.
Aak your gp for a referral. This can be the start of you getting better

Re: Very tired here

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. I'M TIRED ALL THE TIME TOO.

I'VE BEEN TRYING TO DEAL WITH A LOT OF THINGS AND FINDING HELP IS HARD, VERY HARD. I JUST JOINED TODAY. MOST POSTS HERE ARE OF ONE OR TWO PROBLEMS SOME TO ME APPEAR TO BE POSTS LIKE A CHAT ROOM. I'M DOING THIS, I'M DOING THAT. BUT SERIOUSLY WHEN THERE ARE MANY CAUSUAL STRESSORS IN YOUR LIFE GETTING AN ANSWER/HELP IS IMPOSSIBLE (WELL SEEMS THAT WAY TO ME).

I WISH YOU LUCK .

Hi @CamelsBackBroke

I don't sleep well, have been stricter with myself lately that i will NOT use the computer after a certain time at night, but tonight my head is just whirling around and lying in bed, not sleeping, with all that going on was worse than just getting up.... sigh!

Its so hard to reach out for help... anywhere. Im really sorry that you havent gotten a response that is helpful. I think there is a great community here, and generally new people are really supported, I havent been spending as much time on here, and my concentration is so bad i find it hard to follow any of the longer threads at the moment.

If you do feel like sharing, please give us chance, to let us know whats happening. Being heard has been the most helpful thing for me ovre the last year.

Hi @Very_tired

So sorry things arent feeling ok. I also feel exhausted a lot of the time (though as people tell me.. i'm supposed to i have two kids, work full time and a single mamma. But the exhaustion i have is just everything at time, mentally, emotionally, physically. I did find that my old meds sort of stopped being as effective as they were in the beginning, but my psychiatrist changed things and its been a bit more manageable. might be worh a review of your individual circumstances if you can.

ope youre ok, it's nice to 'meet' you, hope to see you both around the forums more,

lj

Re: Very tired here

Hi @Very_tired there is a book called"change your thinking" by an Australian author. It teaches you how to recognise your self destructive thinking patterns to help you then break them. Can also help a partner understand why you react the way you do. Small thing but sometimes can break a cycle. Hope you find something.
