Something’s not right

Dealing with this..........

Dealing with this..........

Hi

For all the people here. I am continuing to try and fight the good fight without the medication cotton wool wrap, however my mind is now fighting me. I continue regardless of my belief that there is a misdiagnosis and therefore I get to be me and the ability to function remains my priotity. My little scented candle has currently self extinguished and I am struggling to reignite it. If I take as prescribed there will be no thinking or feeling and I am questioning if this is possibly a better state.

I am currently unable to relinquish how dreadful things became and constantly revisting the experiences. It has now been 2+ months and daily harder to keep on going.

Is this a relapse .or a reaction to the medication infilltration of my mind? I am now experiencing olfactory and visual hallucinations - This is very frightening as I continue to question my ability to cope.

I can at least recognise that this is another part of my journey, although I am uncertain as to sny reason to continue.

Lotsa Luv Bast

Re: Dealing with this..........

The problem is @Bast that the world needs more people who fight the good fight.

I have immense respect for your decision not to take meds. If it is any help, I am happy to chat with you about your hallucinations or just current day to day of your situation and how they interact.

I read a book about "Mary Barnes" who was at Kingsley Hall with RD Laing .. there are 2 accounts her and one from her psychotherapist. She used art to paint her way through.

I have probably been extremely under medicated even when on AD for 15 years, probably could have been on AP clinically speaking .. but also do not regret feeling the pain and being me as it has given me some clarity.

Hi @Bast
How are you travelling at the moment?

Have you shared with your hallucinations with any of your Drs?

It can be really frustrating and disheartening when things don't feel like they are on track - but it's really important to listen to your intuition and follow up and make sure you get the assistance you deserve.

We're around if you want to chat about it more.
