Something’s not right

(major trigger warning)

(major trigger warning)

My perpetrator got release from jail yesterday.

I tried to suicide following the news.

I can't deal with him being in the streets. I don't want him to find me.

Hey @The-red-centaur thanks for checking in and letting us know you're safe. It sounds like you've got a bit happening at the moment and it makes sense that you might be feeling a bit overwhelmed. I'm sure you'll do what you need to do to look after yourself. All the best too with your case meeting tomorrow. Take care...🌻

Re: (major trigger warning)

The meeting didn't really accomplish anything.
We didn't really make any progress and I didn't feel listened to or heard.
I won't be moving into accommodation and the plan is to see what the NDIS can offer.
I feel like I'm just in the too hard basket and no one wants to or is able to help and everyone just passes me to the next service.

Hi @The-red-centaur I can hear you are having a really tough time. As mentioned previously, it’s really important you get qualified help beyond a peer support service when things get hard - the SANE Forums are not designed to support people at high risk or in distress.

Our forums are not a crisis service.

We’d recommend you take a break from the forums right now and reach out to SCBS on 1300 659 467 or alternatively, our team at the help centre can chat with you and work through some strategies , you can book a call here or web chat here.

@The-red-centaur , am really sorry to hear that you felt unheard in the meeting, and that it didn't make any progress for you 😞 Also sorry to hear that you can't move into any supportive accommodation - that's a bugger.

This must feel really bad, I'm so sorry. 😞

I hope the NDIS can offer some support...do you have someone who can help with accessing the NDIS support?
