Struggling

Struggling

Hi all,

Things are really hard my way I'm struggling I've been very distant from social media so I haven't been on forums much due to my MH being really bad. I just seem to be picking myself up constantly and it's not fun it's exhausting. I've constantly been switching alters, I've been told I have another one so that's making me scared and worried.
I am keeping to myself a lot because I'm struggling.
I'm trying to get myself stable so I can be better again and that I can do the things I want to do * once Covid is over *

I'm sorry that I haven't been around lately

Take care all ❤️🦋

Hey @Fluttershy1 I'm good thanks

Hi @Lee82 , that's no good. I am sad for you hun.

May I ask have you ever seen a psychologist?

My gp wrote out a mental health plan for 6 visits to be covered under Medicare. I have only been once so far but it felt like a huge weight was lifted having spoken to someone and received some advice and tools to work with to manage my anxiety.

Re: Struggling

I have been battling with depression, anxiety and PTSD for years now. I have been in hospital twice and I have a psychologist and a psychiatrist. I am on a lot of meds. It's just these new flashbacks and panic attacks I'm having is happening frequently and I can't control them. I don't know what my trigger is and I can't stop the m. I am just exhausted and over the battke.

Re: Struggling

Oh hunny

I am sorry I was ignorant to that and suggesting what I did probably seems silly in hindsight 😞

@Lee82 I wish I had the answer, your doctor suggesting that there's not much anyone can do is not very helpful. I am sure there are things, I don't know what to suggest other than self care. Perhaps it is time to be upfront with your Mum and let her know that it is too much to help with the coffee deliveries now that you are home schooling your children? That could take some pressure off you? Sometimes we need to think of ourselves especially when we are vulnerable. I am sure your Mum will understand if you explain your situation? What do you think? I hope I haven't overstepped in giving this suggestion, if I have please just tell me to mind my own business x

Re: Struggling

Hey @Lee82

What you are going through sounds incredibly challenging and painful, I can only imagine how exhausted you are at the moment. Please feel free to reach out to the SANE Help Centre, or any other service, if you would like to speak to someone for some support.

Warmest,

Basil.
