Hi @Fluttershy1
I have Chronic Pain Syndrome and although I am getting myself back into a better routine I spent the winter nursing my already degerated shoulder - a torn tendon gave me the bleakies in a big way until my pain specialist did a procedure on my shoulder that put the nerve to sleep
But in the past - I really had a rough time - my son had ADHD and other issues - he was depressed and went off the rails as some kids too - not a good outcome but I really had depression and anxiety and still at times PTSD - so - yes - there were days I didn't want to get out of bed or get on with anything -
But we do somehow have to get on with it - what else can we do?
So much ideas about slow starts still apply to me some days - I start with breakfast and medication and something I have recorded on TV and give myself that hour to thaw out - and now my brushed-up new and shiny routines are helping me to get on with life in spite of the lockdown
I even went out for a walk and a bit of shopping first thing today - I woke up and I could not remember what day it was - okay - Saturday - I had to go out and get a script filled so I took a short walk at the same time
Mental Illness is a tougher route than many physical problems - certainly not all -
Which has to be so hard! And we are so misunderstood - and people tells us things to "snap out of it" - and we would if we could
Thinking of you -
