It is on my to-read list. Thanks
My maths teacher spoke about first principles being important ... and that and respect your sources .. ancestral and academic are my starting points.
I am such a bottom up person, I usually want to get on top of the science rather than read a reporting of it.
I have been scouring Amazon and other sites ... but as stingy with cash .. dont actually buy many books although there look like some terrific ones have been published recently. So I stick to library .. but thinking of paying a Jstor subscription of $20 .. tho not sure how many med papers on that database.
At the moment brushing up on chemistry and looking at pharmacology so I can assess the quality of any pdocs ... we may need. I dont want to be a fool and not medicate when necessary.
I dont think some of the mods realise that my father died of pneumonia whilst accused of malingering at a general hospital and then we all walked home from the general hospital and he had to go to the mental hospital by law or they were going to send police ... so he was overwalked and overmedicated ... and no-one went to his inquest ... though I do have the papers now. Also researching more inquests .. in the public domain.
Things were more straightforward in my sister's death, but a bit dodgy around my brother's death. So I am molto cautious.
