Gosh you have had a busy day! (Yesterday)

Your 50th sounded lovely, on a river cruise, very nice.

Haha I giggled picturing Holy hiding under the bed to avoid the dreaded toenail clipping. And yes lol it's a good thing hubby doesn't do the same 😀

My mum has trimmed my Dad's hair and beard for as long as I can remember too. He calls it a hairjob lol. Always makes me laugh when he tells me "mum gave me a hairjob today".

Your dinner sounds lovely, were you happy with it? I guess more the question was hubby? I find it difficult to please all of mine. It's easier when bf isn't here for dinner, less to please 🤪

Nope washing machine is still out if action. It's going to be a challenge to catch back up. I am hoping they will call me Monday and come Tuesday. Based on past experience with my old machine they come, diagnose, order part and return days later. Arghhhh! Will let you know any updates.

Yesterday and last night was lovely. My family spoiled me with their time and lovely gifts. I even received some divine chocolate dipped strawberries and champagne from my family in lockdown. God bless them 🙏

Today, well I'm still in bed. Coffee made by bf and probably should wake my boy for his morning meds. So I will bid farewell for now @Emelia8 and hope that you are enjoying your first day of a new year. May it bring you a clean bill of health after treatment sweetheart I am praying for that for you xxx

I want you to dream BIG but wake up after and follow those dreams. It's baby steps for now but I really in my heart of hearts feel that a change will happen for you this year. The Universe just went through its own torment. It's passed now to make way for better things. Have faith, I do in you hun. Use your mood diary so that your pdoc can use it as a tool to help you. You really do have this. You just have to believe in yourself as much as we all do. You really are a gem. Love you L 🙏🤗💞

Yes the dinner (chicken mornay bake) I cooked for new years eve turned out well thanks ... and yes hubby even enjoyed it. Ha ha your Dad is funny ... getting his hairjob.

Oh dear ... still no washing machine ... you really are going to be behind arent you. Is there a laundromat near you? Its a long time to be without a machine.

So pleased to hear that your birthday dinner was enjoyable and that you got justifiably spoiled. The choc dipped strawberries sound particularly nice. I'm not a fan of champagne however it does go nicely with strawberries. 🍾🍓

I need to get up. Last day before I have to return to the office. Not sure if you read that I am covering a colleague for the next two weeks. So I am feeling very anxious today. I need to focus on the NOW to stay grounded and not let it get the better of me. Yes washing is ridiculously piling out of every basket and flowing into the floor. I did a load of hand washing yesterday as my boy has run out of smalls. Something I will no doubt do as well so will need to do some more today. To be honest with covid I don't feel comfortable using a laundromat at present so I guess unless it's still weeks away them I'll manage with emergency hand washing. I'd like to visit mum and dad today so I may even ask mum iif I may bring one load over.

I think I need coffee, my emotions are running high. Before I go here's a gift 🎁 just cause...you deserve it 🤗

Yes I had read that you were covering for your colleague from today. I responded to you regarding that, on NatureLovers thread earlier today. I hope the anxiety you were feeling over the extra workload for the next two weeks has reduced somewhat now that you're back on the job.

Any news re washing machine mechanic? Yes I understand your reluctance to go to a laundromat under the current COVID situation. I expect your Mum wouldnt mind if you do an occasional load of washing at their place if your machine is out of action for much longer. All very well doing smalls by hand, but you will all start to run out of outer clothes soon too. Its been days already, or nearly a week I think?

Your gift to me yesterday was much appreciated. Guess what I discovered inside? It was takeaway Thai dinner for last night. Yummo! Didnt feel like cooking last night, so it was the perfect gift. Hubby loves anything spicy, and I also like Thai food. Your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. 😊💕👍 In reality though, it was a very ordinary ham and salad quickly tossed together.

I see that there is a big band of storms right down the East coast this arvo. I hear rumbling in the distance as the storms are coming in from the West. I think Sydney already have the rain and storms, perhaps quite heavy. Hope you're okay. Are you taking public transport to and from work? Take care wont you? Much love to you.

Yes I am about to head home, not a minute too soon. Overall a good day with only one customer service order so can't complain about that. I do have a lot to do, being back has reminded me that I have three weeks to set the year up so it runs smoothly. I've got this! Lol tongue in cheek.

Yes it has been at least that. He came today and I'm yet to hear the outcome but a text suggests it's the motor. So it may be more viable to replace it. I'll find out more once I am home.

Yes it was black and very heavy rain. I thought I might have to camp overnight in the office. It has passed now so shouldn't be a treacherous run home. 🤞

I drive thank goodness, did the public transport pre kids when I was young and worked in the city. Never again. Such a huge chunk of a day. Life's too short to sit on a train into the city on a daily basis. For me anyway.
