Huge OUCHIES!!

You must have been in 'the zone' @Anastasia not to feel your fingers developing blisters like those.

I hope the garden looks good & you feel a sense of accomplishment!

Lol I felt it just pushed through.

Since had a coffee shower and washed hair all with one hand. Feel pretty good considering 😆

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Just focused when I want something, probably silly but oh well. I wish I could show you photos. The transformation is literally incredible.

Love to you all @WIP @Eve7 @Zoe7 @Emelia8

Re: Trying to stay Sane

I know all about being focussed when I want something - not much stands in my way, physical pain included.

How come you can't show photos?' @Anastasia

Anyway, treat yourself to a nice hot shower or bath - you deserve it

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Ohhhhh @Anastasia ... you have literally worked your fingers to the bone. 💕

Nothing like a sense of achievement and a focused mind to help us push through the pain barrier.

Yes, I too have done similar when I pig-headedly push through in order to finish something I started.

Glad to hear that the garden transformation was worth the mighty effort you put into it. Well done.

I too wish I could see the transformation. Did you do a before and after shot, I wonder?

Even without seeing the pics, just your description that it "looks incredible" is enough to make me know its great.

Now ... what are you doing about those fingers of yours? All those blisters. Seeing as the blisters are broken, I'd suggest you wash gently with warm soapy water and use an antibiotic ointment to help sooth and keep infection out. Maybe cover with a bandaid if you are working with your hands on anything that could be dirty. But I'm sure you know that.

Anyway ... well done on your hard work and for the incredible transformation you have achieved today. I expect you may sleep well tonight. Hope so.

Re: Trying to stay Sane

Oh thank you @Anastasia ... your photos came through while I was responding to your other post.

I agree ... it looks incredible. Lots of hard work, and little wonder you got all those blisters from it.

Love your rock retaining wall. Some nice ferns too and shrubs.

You have a really interesting back yard ... one I would be happy to spend time in.

I expect once the hard work is done, it should be fairly easy care too? You've done really well.

Emelia 👍💓🌸
