Your Dad no doubt would prefer to be in his own home for as long as possible. Is your mum able to access some in-home help, a visiting nurse or something?
Hoping your boy gets a bed in hospital soon, maybe today?

Thank you @Emelia8. At this stage Dad is still calling the shots but yes Mum will no doubt need to access supports in home or other sooner rather than later 😔
My boys in a queue that is approx 1km long for a test today in case hospital can accommodate him 😱

I really hope your Mum can get some in-home care for your Dad soon...I hope the team will discuss options today if possible.

Hello my dear friend, I'm hoping you are coping OK. I read you had a medical appt the other day...hope it went OK. Thinking of you and your Dad and your family, and sending wishes...
Yesterday was bad day and today I want to go back to bed, but am hoping to stay up anyway and do some house tidying if possible. The house is out of control and the kitchen is non-functional, so I think I'll start there.

I'm not doing well tonight. Black thoughts that are consuming me tonight. Questioning everything.
My oldest son has Covid, two work colleagues have covid.
My Dad see palliative care Dr tomorrow to make a plan. He can't walk any longer on his own. Both Mum and Dad are reliant on me daily for help, be it administrative or emotional.
My boy is in hospital and treatment options are being investigated as symptoms are high all round.
I went back to work today and I just want to throw the towel in. I have no passion or care for any of it. I just want to focus on my family.
Is anyone here please?
