Thank you for the thoughts and love @Anastasia Just my husband and myself today and grateful that we have each other. Took ourselves for a beautiful float in the ocean yesterday and today a simple no fuss lunch and just chillin. I rang my girl in hospital yesterday to get the expected rejection over and done with as I didn't want to spend today in tears. Wise move on my part. Restful afternoon in store. Thanks for your good wishes. I had a slow morning and video chatted with my family in NSW. Ate mince pies in custard for breakfast. Now on the forums for a while. Overcast here but have been for 2 walks.

Change can be difficult.
I don't see family, so we had a quiet Christmas lunch yesterday. Scandinavian tradition. Today I'm home alone. I'm glad D keeps busy.
