You can give me a "kick" if you like.

There's an idea, how about we institute a digitally offered playful "kick" or "punch" with a level of 1 to 10, like they use to measure our emotional state in a treatment or therapeutic environment. It can be offered when someone is cheeky or gives us a hard time for what we have written, or the way in which we have written the text. To use one of @TAB's favourite expressions,

"Dunno lol"

Yes, now having exposed myself like that, I have to be extra careful

I am so unused to emoticons that I simply don't think of using them in my text until someone offers them in a reply.

I just found the legend for all sorts of other emoticons and have been

practising, naturally, with the appropriate ones. That has opened a whole range of new possibilities for presentation in my messages.
