Anxiety - Depression- DID

Anxiety - Depression- DID

Hi all,

I suffer From Anxiety, Depression, DID, etc

I have been suffering with anxitey all my life and then the depression and DID came in this year along with some other mental health issues. It was very scary at the start because I spent the start of February in and out of hospital & recovery units just to try and get myself to a more stable place.
I then was starting to get better and it all went downhill again.... I was struggling, I didn't know much about DID at that stage. I had no supports either. I was using helplines a lot.
I still use them every known again if needed.
I found it very hard to open up to people and to trust people because I had been hurt so many times and unheard at times.
I have survived my own mental health at the age of 16 without help... Then at the age of 17 I had started to book my own GP appointments because I was going downhill.
My GP has been my main support through all my hospitalisations. She has never given up on me and she is still working with me till this day.

Then I got myself back to a more stable place when I got my support team in place. They are teaching me how to manage with everything that goes on around me and how I feel after a really stressful situation.
I am now 6 weeks clean from SH & being hospitalised. I want to keep it going because now I'm starting to see that there is hope.

I have a few quotes that keep me going -

Don't just survive — fight for your future

Hope is real & change is possible

When it's dark, be the one who turns on the light.

@StillIrise - Have you tried explaining to your boss how you are feeling? If not maybe you could.

Yes in March last year and they even called the police on me for a welfare check, one of their groups supports domestic violence, and there stat4 they support employees with mental health

all they did was make me feel more vulnerable and unsupported

if management can't work it out how can it roll down to staff and the people I supported, I felt very alone and unheard

work has been one of my anchors but not anymore, I'm connecting the dots and putting my pieces back together

that's more than I can handle at the moment with finally leaving my ex , domestic violence, ilef6 with some clothes and a car and I can't let them at work see the Emma seems battle going on for the right to survive, still discovering who makes me up and that's the 52 yr old grown up talking, they need to know I can do it and be a little less ok well a lot less Protective. I have to also see legal aid, , divorce, pay the bills from the ex that were all in my name., , it all too much I'm tired and wonder will it ever get better

but I won't hurt myself no one will let me, I just want to stop taking all the responsibility, the guilt from stuff I wasn't able to control or manage,

I've been to sexual assault councillors and domestic violence councellors but in all these years I have finally found one that seems to be able to help me move forward and take ownership of me a I.

im dealing with much more and on a much deeper level and at the moment I feel like I'm o some crazy roller coaster ride

but I will prevail and I guess I've made it this far lol and cry at the same time. Just want the constant battle within to resolve and be at piece

@StillIrise - I'm so sorry, I understand how you feel.
I'm going through a rollercoaster at the moment with my moods they are all over the place and my alters are constantly switching. It's scary but I know I can get through it.
I'm currently in tears due to my family not understanding my mental health. Nothing seems right at the moment....

Must go hide with little alter they keep me safe 😭😭

@Fluttershy1 If I allowed and looked tears run down without me knowing

at the moment the argument is why r u writing on here about us..l so I'm signing off tonight or I think my head may explode...

look after you and if I have to believe I'm stronger than I know, if I bl9ck my ears

you too can survive

i have to believe there is strength in numbers and in all the years, I hope I'm rising to the challenge, it's not people saying oh that's just her, or she's always been the black sheep

i told my parents last week that I love them as parents but I won't be seeing them or contacting them very often because I will not allow them to make me feel like a defenceless 3yr old anymore, they who believe the perpetrator and see him but that's ok , they have to answer to a greater power someday.

i usually box sadness tears and pain off quick but it's overwhelmed all of us that maybe we are not alone and not crazy and can be fixed
