Morning has broken

Mum hasn’t been tested @Emelia8 but everyone else I’m the house tested negative. I shudder when I think of the number of people I hugged at the wedding including the bride and groom 😰 at. Least the ceremony was outside by a glorious magnolia tree.

My sister goes back to work tomorrow but her h is at home. It’s good they have a granny flat so I can isolate

Yes very fortunate you have somewhere to isolate. When were you due to fly home? Any issues changing flights if needed?

I'm going okay thanks. Pain slowly subsiding. Dressings, front and back, were changed on Friday. Told me all wounds are looking good at this stage. I was relieved coz they have been kinda burning, healing pains maybe. Heavy dressings need to remain on for another couple of weeks before another wound check of all. Internal sutures on all surgical wounds so no stitches or staples to remove, which is good.

Being looked after well here. Slowly regaining apetite, but still weak and dizzy. Did tests to see if I may be still anaemic, despite transfusions. Could account for why I am still so tired too. Though 2 anaesthetics in 4 days (plus an emergency addnl one during second surgery) may have a bearing too.

I’m doing ok thanks @Snowie and have changed this week’s appointments to Telehealth. Pdoc wanted to do zoom but I said no, not while I’m in bed.

@Emelia8 I was able to change my flight as I had insurance. I am pleased you have settled in at your local hospital. 💚💕
