Today I met a friend and we went to the ballet to see Manon with Li Cunxin and Mary Li making very rare guest appearances. Some may remember Li Cunxin in Mao’s Last Dancer.

The whole performance was absolutely amazing and I’m glad I agreed tho go as it was so surreal to dress up and act “normal” lol

I hope you’re all doing ok and big loving hugs from me if you’re not.

I loved that movie.

I sometimes watch a ballet irl or on screen and find it very calming.

My eyes follow the movement and somehow bypass the busy cognitive side of my personality.

How awesome @Eve7 . I love the ballet. It’s nice to dress up and be ‘normal’ occasionally.

Fun fact. My best friend actually taught Mao!
