The new ad’s knocked me out the first night but not so much last night, fingers crossed.

Yes, family came last night and I cooked an easy French dish we all love. Then we watched you tube clips of our dear friend who passed yesterday morning. So many people have posted his funny moments and we laughed and cried for hours. A life well lived.

No family today as I am going to lunch with friends for a birthday of one in our group. I need to get in the shower and put on my glad rags.

I expect you are still feeling numb re the sudden death of your family friend. I like that you and your family were able to get together yesterday to share videos of him, and share the good times he provided to you all. He sounds like a special man, and he will be very much missed.

Actually I was just thinking of you @Eve7 . I'm not quite sure ...was it you who posted a picture somewhere over the past couple of days of a (not quite sure what its called) looked like some sort of lily ... a white flower with mauve in it?

I have some in my garden also, and in fact sketched the flower and coloured it in sometime last year when the flowers were out. I was looking through my photos to find it when your post came in. Havent found it yet
