Re: Morning has broken

Thanks @tyme

Just a lot happening at the moment. My inability to control things isn't really helping. I have had to rely a lot on my supports and help lines.

Re: Morning has broken

Hi @Snowie ,

As difficult as it is for you to reach out, especially for people who are so used to helping others, please know it's absolutely OKAY.

You deserve every ounce of support you get.

By nature, mental health fluctuates. Sometimes, we help others, and other times, people help us. That's the beauty of it.

I also like to be in control of things, but it's a fact that we can't always be in control. I've had one of those weeks too. I'm with you @Snowie . You can only do the best you can.

Please continue reaching out to your supports. You do not have to do this alone.

Hugs,

tyme

Sorry to hear you have had a difficult week too @tyme Please know that we are here for you too, it works both ways. Curled up on the couch with the dog at the moment. Cuddles with her makes things a little better!

Re: Morning has broken

My week was challenging @Snowie , but I LOVEEEEE being on the forums! It's my reprieve and comfort to know there are people who understand.

And yes, cuddles DO make a huge difference! Pet therapy is great.

Hugs and cuddles @Snowie ,

Re: Morning has broken

I’ve had a really tough session with pdoc this morning and am now totally exhausted. I think I will just go home and sleep for the rest of the day.

Why do events that happened years ago trigger me so much? On Sunday a person who violated me put his hand on my shoulder and I shuddered.

sorry I won’t elaborate.

Re: Morning has broken

Sometimes rest is important @Eve7 especially after a difficult appointment. Self care yeah? Have you eaten? Maybe some dinner? Mum cooked butter chicken for dinner, I wasn’t overly hungry, but I ate a little. Maybe a cuppa to start with?
