Dear @Snowie , I hope your difficult day today goes well - I know what it's like to be forced by family to pretend all is well. It sucks.

I have stopped doing Christmas now with my abusive family and only do presents for my niece and nephews interstate.

I hope your mother is bearable today and that you can cope...sending strength and wishes. 💙

Presents all unwrapped. Christmas lunch finished. That was a real challenge for me. But I tried my best to be present in the moment.
will sit for a bit before dropping D off at her fathers for a couple of hours. Have to pick her up too- His car broke down- annoying.

I've just dropped my D off at her fathers- always such a heavy sadness doing that on Christmas. What he destroyed and took from us.

Everyone else has gone to bed for an afternoon nap. I'm going to go jump on the treadmill and try get rid of all these unpleasant feelings building inside.
