@Adge Just had blood results back with low iron and on tablets myself - but the internal blood loss is a concern. I hope you can get rushed in for the colonoscopy - sounds like it is needed ASAP. Sending you my best wishes and a big squishy hug

Oh I'm sorry you have similar @Zoe7 Yes Iron Tablets helped last time (10 or 15 years ago).

Although I think it took several months, at least.

I had no bowel or digestive issues back then - This time nothing is staying in long enough to be absorbed.

Not sure what to do about that.

Yeah told it would likely take a few weeks to start to see any effects - still fighting to not fall asleep during the day at work - which is not good. I don't have the same issues with absorption like you have now though. Still issues with IBS but that at least seems under control mainly for now. I hope they can get on top of it for you @Adge - makes it so much harder when 'things' are not working as they should to get the most benefit from the treatment Squishy hugs for you, Jelly cat and Pepper Puss kitten (Clover is 1 in a few weeks - where did that time go???)
