Maybe its us members doing something wrong and somehow failing you Mumi? Maybe we cannot provide the support you need? I dont know, I wish I did. But I do know you are always welcome here, or any other thread.

And I really appreciate the support you have provided to me, when you have been able. But there is never any expectation to be supportive, if you are not up to it.

At the end of the day, each and every one of us are here because we need something. Its an accepted fact that sometimes we are incapable of giving. But if we are here long enough, that turns around and we are in a position to give back. The usual swings and roundabouts of life in general.

If all you can do for now, is to be here ... then thats all you need to do for now. And please do not feel bad for that.

Your reply is very much appreciated @Emelia8 . I am pleased that we are able to correspond again, knowing that you have recently had reason to have less contact on the forum than usual. Your reference to ships passing in the night, so close, yet for most on board, unaware of how close they may be, seems appropriate.

It is sometimes difficult, as much as we try, for the written word to convey our meaning as intended.

I'm sorry if my response to your question about how I'm going may have seemed defensive. That isn't the way that I intended it. I had also not interpreted your comment as critical, so please feel comfortable in that regard. Recently, I have had the impression that forum activity has been a little low. I was hoping that some of the members mentioned may consider expanding their fields of activity also, and newer members may consider a wider range of options.

I do understand that we find a number of threads in which we feel comfortable with the people with whom we are talking, which I believe, is an important part of the function of the forum. However, if people are not aware of those other areas of contact in which they may also feel comfortable, they may reduce their activity, or even leave the forum with the opportunity lost for the forum to be a vehicle for reciprocal and mutual support. That was part of the reason for offering the different options in the form of a list of different threads and members.

There are a number of threads in which more personal discussions take place which, for courtesy reasons, I did not include. However, I hope that the threads mentioned are available for people to visit and also engage with other members.

There are many threads and members, I believe, with whom I have little or no contact. For those with whom I do have contact, I like to let them know, as an acknowledgement of my having read the comments and my continuing interest, by offering a "support" as you referred to in your reference in your reply.
