The Sound of Music was good on the big screen and still one of my favourite love stories.

I liked reading along with your conversation last night about The Sound of Music. It is one of my all time favourite movies. I have seen it so many times over the years, and would happily watch it again any time. I have also seen it in New York City ... off broadway ... it was a fabulous play, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. One of the highlights of my New York visit 💖, along with the Twin Towers. 😔 I loved your description of travelling around Austria ... how wonderful. Speaking of travel, I noticed in the news a few days ago that some cruises are starting up again overseas. Unfortunately not very successfully I gather, with the virus being a problem once more. I thought of you though, with your cancelled cruise.

Yes @Emelia8 I love that movie and have seen it so many times. I actually met Maria Von Trapp many years ago and she was still wearing Austrian clothes. One of life’s great memories.
I have officially cancelled my cruise so just waiting to see how much is refunded.
