Morning has broken

I hope there’s lots of snow there for you @Snowie and the weather is nice and sunny. We took our kids when they were younger but I think my knees are beyond it now.

I have covid insurance on the cruise and I’ll be getting my second jab soon but I doubt that covid will disappear.

We have been going up to the snow since the kids were little. They have grown up skiing. I guess it has been family tradition now to go up to the snow.

Skiing as a family is a great tradition @Snowie I remember when my kids first learned to ski without poles after one lesson. They haven’t taken their kids though.

We have a boat and JetSki so the family doesn’t need to go away.

Its been raining here all day and I think it has set in for the weekend. At least my plants will be growing!

What I like most is that the kids don't have tv or video games. They have to talk to us and others at the lodge!!

A JetSki and boat sound like fun, I hope you are able to use them on the summer holidays.

I haven’t been on the water for a while @Snowie but my big boys go out a lot. They even go to the supermarket on the JetSki!!

I used to go out fishing with h but have hardly fished in years.

Its good when kids participate in healthy exercise and are away from their screens.

We have a JetSki too but have to drive a few hours to get to the river. We always go up there at Christmas time.

It is good when they are away from their screens. Does them good and gives H a break from work too, which helps him.

I’m near both river and ocean @Snowie S2 lives on the river where all the “toys” are kept. I’ve moved back into my duplex but still close by everything.

Good for your h to have a break. He seems to be very supportive.

I thought the novelty of taking the JetSki to the shops would have worn off over the years but it’s usually more when they go camping and the fish aren’t biting so they buy take away.
