Hello @Snowie
Hope your morning has gone ok so far
Dearest @Eve7 Im crossing my fingers and toes that you're in that horrible place for only one more night. 🤞
Since being home sick, I've been able to get my anti anxiety meds down to the dose they should be, so have decided to postpone my hospital admission until pdoc wants to reduce them further. I'm going to spend a couple of nights at Mums to be safe.
Hi @Anastasia @NatureLover @Bow @Emelia8
Big hugs to you all 🤗🤗🤗

Oh @WIP
That is incredibly great news, well done you!!!
Hey just had a email from HCF, I need to investigate but it appears they are offering no gap tsoc appointments to members! I'm going to look into it. I think they are telehealth but it might be of interest to you?
👋 All 💞

Thanks @Anastasia
Pretty chuffed for myself & my pdoc was proud of me during our Telehealth appt.
can you please let me know what you find out about HCF? My main concern is if I do suddenly need to go into hospital, there's the 2 months wait for psychiatric services. Mum doesn't want me to change until I'm doing much better, and to be honest I agree with her.

I will @WIP
My understanding from working in the industry is that if you already have psychiatric cover there will be no wait to go to hospital. The wait is on the excess as it is considered higher cover in the insurance terminology. So if you change to HCF with no excess and go to hospital within 2 months of changing then you will have the excess but can still go. If you go to hospital after the 2 months there will be no excess ever. Does that make sense?

Oh, thanks interesting & does make sense - thanks @Anastasia
The Insurance Industry don't advertise things (well maybe they do in the fine print). I've found you need to ask as many questions as you can think of. And all these I Select, compare the market etc - make it even more confusing.
I appreciate your help 🦋💕

I hear you @WIP
The PDS is a minefield. I spent years travelling overseas training staff on it. Happy to help obviously before you change make sure you get clarification from them. The calls are recorded so write down the time/date and agents name you speak to x
Love ya 💕

Thanks @Anastasia Thanks such a kind offer from you.
When I looked into it last year, I was about to swap over to HCF, but they never mentioned the no excess. I'm the end, I stuck with AHM as they threw in extra claims for Chiro & Osteo - who I was seeing on a fortnightly basis, chewing through my extras very quickly - and they were in seperate
groups. Lots of fund blend Chiro, physio & Osteo all together. So, they are the 3 important things I need coverage for, and remedial.
Ill call on you when I need you - thanks again for the kind offer to help.. 💞💙

I am ok @WIP all things considered and thank you for asking.
I actually showered again and blow dried my hair for lack of anything else to do.
Spoke to pdoc and she agreed I could go tomorrow if I’m ok overnight. Happy dance 💃
You are doing well to cut back on your meds!!
