Hi @Snowie , do you like this cold weather we're having in Melbourne?! I hope you'll be able to get away to the snow this year 💙

Hi @Eve7 ...how are you doing? Are you still doing ECT?

Hope the weekend has some good things in it for you 💛

Morning @NatureLover

I don't mind the cold weather. I guess the colder it is the more chances of snow!!

Hopefully we will get up to the snow this year. We are all booked in for it, just have to wait and see if this lockdown will continue or not.

How are you going? Any plans for today?

I did wonder if this was the case 😄 @Snowie

I really hope there's no lockdown for when you've booked your snow trip!

I'm doing OK thanks - not a fan of the cold like you, but everything's OK. Today some walking, reading, cooking up some yummy rhubarb that I got given, plus need to do some tidying and laundry. Tossing up whether to pop to the shops for a few groceries or leave it till tomorrow.

Am eating hot cross buns as Coles were selling them last week, surprisingly! Would you like one?

Re: Morning has broken

Sounds like you have a busy day @NatureLover

I have some ironing to do from doing all the washing yesterday. I hate ironing but have to get it done!!

A hot cross bun sounds yummy hon, would happily have one. It does seem like a strange time of the year to sell them however. Went to my local coles yesterday and didn't see any.

Re: Morning has broken

That's odd you didn't have any hot cross buns at your Coles store, @Snowie .

@Anastasia thought it might be that Coles were looking after us in lockdown...which sounds about right...but maybe it's up to the individual store. My local store has a bakery attached, so maybe the store bakery manager decides what to bake that day. Anyway, here's a hot hot cross bun with melting butter for you! 🥮 (closest I could get)

I hope the ironing goes quickly and you can forget you're doing it and drift off thinking about nicer things...

Re: Morning has broken

I love warm hot cross buns @NatureLover , especially with melting butter.

Perhaps the baker decides what to back, my coles has a bakery attached too.

Next time I go, I will look more closely at what they baked!!

I hope the ironing goes quickly too. I try to do a bit evey few days so it doesn't pile up.

Morning @WIP , I hope today goes well for you too.

Re: Morning has broken

@NatureLover I'd love a hot cross bun if there's any spare.

my local woolies & coles still sell them, just without the cross on them. They're advertised as fruit buns. I think I prefer the Woolies ones a bit better, more fruit. But I'm not complaining, they are usually available almost all year round (except Christmas).
