Re: Morning has broken

Hi @Eve7 Glad you are doing a bit better today & trying to keep yourself busy. Your workplace sounds so considerate to allow you the time that you need. Will be thinking of you in the lead up to Thursday & of course on the day. The plans you have sound so lovely. ❣️
Yes, still in hospital for another week. It's going ok. Of course it's bit nice being in hospital,

however my pdoc visits every day & most of the nurses are good. I've had some chats with other patients, and the human interaction has been really good for me.

Hi @Snowie I'm glad it's nothing serious with your fur baby, and it should only take a week for her to improve. What color is your Cavoodle? I have one too. 🐶 They have such a beautiful nature, I love mine to bits. He's my 2nd Cavoodle.

Re: Morning has broken

Poor Izzy. Please give her an extra hug from me @Snowie I’m so glad you got onto it early.

I’ve just read about a blood test for depression which can record biological markers. Apparently this Can then determine how to match patients with medications.

”The professor’s team made an additional discovery: Mood disorders are underlined by circadian clock genes - the genes that regulate our seasonal and day - night, sleep - wake cycles. That explains why some patients get worse with seasonal changes and the sleep alterations that occur in mood disorders,” said Professor x.

Interesting but possibly too late to help me.

@WIP It really sounds as if your hospital stay has been a positive experience for you so far. I am so happy for you if that is right.

I hope the coming week continues to go well for you and it’s great that you’ve made the most of the human interaction there.

Well done ✅ xox

Re: Morning has broken

Hopefully a prn helps you hon @Eve7 Do you have access to them?

My afternoon is not going great. Just had a prn myself.

Have at least picked the kids up from school and now in my pjs. Just have to organise tea soon.

Re: Morning has broken

What are you having for tea @Snowie ?

I can get prn. S1 will bring it over as soon as he confirms that I can have it. So demoralising.

How’s Izzy this evening?

Re: Morning has broken

We are having chicken wraps with salad for tea @Eve7 Nice and easy to cook

Hopefully S1 can bring the prn with him and you don't have to wait much longer. I have my prn at home with me but they are locked in the safe with all my other meds. Only H has access to them so I have to ask him for prn. It is hard when we have to rely on others to get our meds.

Izzy seems ok. I have a wash, some cream and some tablets for her. It cost a lot all together. More expensive then taking one of the kids to the doctors!!!

Re: Morning has broken

I hope your family enjoyed tea @Snowie and also appreciate everything you do for them. You’re a good wife and mother...to Izzy as well. I shudder to think what you spent at the Vet’s today.

My prn is kept at the Pharmacy and only S1 Can get it or the mh nurse. I also have to show I’ve been following strategies on my safety plan before it will be approved. I can have my other meds at home but only 3 days’ supply at a time and I have to confirm with my nurse when I take them. I suppose it’s better than being in hospital.

What do you have planned for tomorrow?
