Thanks @WIP sorry you’re feeling the same way.
Did you start a mood diary?

No, I haven't started one yet @Eve7 but intend to, based on my psychologists recommendations, so we can work on my 'emotional dustegregulation'. I think it'll be a good idea, but at the same time a smack in the face of reality.
I had a great day a Monday after my visit with her, highly motivated, hopeful etc, then crashed and burned late Tuesday afternoon when my sister upset me.
Im so desperately holding onto that relationship. But in relating it's way pas it's used by date and approached 'disengaged' (on her behalf), so im
just self sabotaging trying to make it work. That's partly why I'm upset today - just gotta let it go really...
Hows your wrist healing? Are you keeping up with your stretches?

Good to see the pair of you around this morning @Eve7 @WIP ... though I'm sorry to hear you are both feeling flat.
I read your new thread WIP re mood diary, as well as a few helpful suggestions. Have you looked into it a bit more and perhaps found one which suits your needs?

Oh Em, there's so many to chose from!! @Emelia8
My psychologist did provide somesiggestions of templates and also apps, but thought my forum family may also be able to help - hence my post.
I need to keep it simple, not overcomplicqte things or I won't stick to it. It's going tonne challenging enough as it is. BPDSurvivor made a great suggestion of designing her own, that includes food & sleep - and because I struggle with both of those areas, and I know they have a massive impact on my mood, I really want to include those topics.
have you ever kept a mood diary or journaled?

Oh wow! Thanks @Anastasia
I'll be sire to check it out.
Its going to challenging - I won't lie, I'm a little scared. But therapy is only as good as what you put in. At least I feel safe with this psychologist.

No @WIP I have never maintained a mood diary.
So good to hear you say that you feel safe with your new clinical psychologist. That is, I believe, a vital component in any psych/patient relationship. Without trust, any ongoing therapy is unlikely to be fully conducive to recovery. So WIP ... your perseverence in finding the right therapist will pay dividends.

My wrist is going ok @WIP Yes, I do the sterches regularly but it’s still very stiff.
Yesterday I soaked it in parrafin wax which was strange then the therapist peeled it off after 10mins and I really noticed the difference in stretching.
I have a journal to complete weekly with entries like challenges, achievements, goals, what inspired me, kind acts, self care, important lessons, people I’m thankful for, gratitude. I don’t do entries every day just over the week.
Thanks for dropping by @Anastasia @Emelia8
PS. They are great resources @Anastasia thanks for sharing.
