counting down till Christmas, till it's over. I don't enjoy this time of year , &!thays been the case for awhile now. But worse recently with my 2nd last Christmas with Dad was visiting him

im hospital -(he passed just under 2 wks later) and last year I was in hospital myself undergoing ECT - worst decision of my life 😢 I'll be alright - I survive every year somehow - but if sucks!

All the ads on tv & radio carrying on about the perfect Christmas after such a difficult year, It just annoys me. So many of us who battle mental health daily, Christmas doesn't provide a bit of relief.

Who has something special organised for Christmas? That might life my spirits.

I know it's so difficult to replace what you've lost, but it really does help ease the pain.

to this day, I still catch myself along it talking about 'Ollie' rather than Levi . 14 yearns of habit to undo.

Hi @WIP I really struggle this time of the year. Trying to distract from negative thoughts is difficult. I can't have anything to do by with family, even though they are close by. Too hurtful. So I understand.
Not sure what is happening next week. I'm trying to ignore it. Have bought a leg ham already. Some yummy food etc.
