Aww thank you @Snowie I haven’t had much sleep but I’m ok. I think he’ll be here about 2pm so I’ll go on the treadmill.
I hope your day goes well.

@Snowie Well it’s been a big day with pdoc visit and having diagnosis confirmed though a bit different to what I expected. Pdoc came prepared with social worker and prn. I have psychotic depression which, when fully explained, makes sense. Where to now...pdoc says at least another month here and then maybe this mental wellness place if I can afford it...spending my kids’ inheritance. At least the cost might keep me on track and pdoc thinks I’ll respond well if we get the timing right for admission. Pdoc says he’s pleased with how I’ve responded so far and thanked me for being honest with him.
Anyway that’s it for now as I’m really rung out.
Thank you for the support. It is what it is.
Enjoy the snow buddy and post some happy snaps please. Hope your day has been ok and safe travelling
Eve 💙🧡💙☃️❄️

Sounds like it has been a huge day for you @Eve7 I am glad the pdoc came prepared. I am pleased your diagnosis makes sense to you and that he explained it all too.
At least you have a time line now but please try and not think of it as spending your kids inheritance. Think of it as investing time and money into you, because you is super important, valued and need to be here for your children, no matter how old they are.
Will make sure I post some photos of Snowie in the snow!

Aww thanks @Eve7
I feel the same about you. I am loving the friendship that we have. I feel I can relate to you a lot.
Your children are very lucky to have you too, look at all the hard work you are doing for yourself.

My babies are grown with their own families now. My husband died a few years ago so I’m alone but I do have lovely grandchildren.
We have a friendship that I treasure. How are you?
25 years ago a pdoc told my husband I would never recover from schizophrenia so is a new diagnosis a recovery? @Snowie

I’ll keep my posts here and untagged while I learn to keep my thoughts captive.
Its been a rough day after yesterday’s pdoc visit with so much to process and my mother’s stupid comments today.
I won’t be going to the mental wellness place after looking at the website and realising I know the CEO. I’ll go to one in Timbuktu where no one could possibly know me or anyone in my family.
Off to bed now with prn and night meds. I’ll wake up from my pity party tomorrow.
