I cannot tell you how sorry I feel that she is no longer with you. The loss of a precious child is so heartbreaking, so unfair, so unfathomable, so meaningless, so wrong. There really are no words that could adequately describe your loss.

Yes, I can understand @Eve7 that a small piece of you died the day she died. And that hole that remains in your heart and being, can never be filled. But your heart, your soul, just grew a little more to enable you to continue to love your other children, your husband and your good friends. And yes ... even we lucky ones here whom you bestow your kind and understanding support whenever its needed.

You were not diminished by your enormous loss @Eve7 ... you were enhanced. Your loss has helped to make you the wonderful person we all love today.
