Just read your message to @Eve7 that you went @Bow That's very brave of you to go when you don't feel like it. I used to go regularly, but not for years. I can't face anyone. Too many hurts to ignore. No understanding of CPTSD. Best for me not to go. So you've done well. I still have my faith though.
Umm! I guess I'm sort of ok. Trying to be. Just pottering around the house. Now watching a series on tv. Found some mince that needs cooking, so I'm making meatballs.

That’s sad that your church didn’t feel like an understanding safe place. The church is suppose to be a place for the hurting. I’ve been very fortunate that my current pastors- who are like my second family (and my church), have been very understanding, however they are in a transition phase and are stepping down.
Glad you still have your faith though, it can help when things don’t make sense inside us.
Pottering around is good. I’ve done some painting to try and keep me busy. Verge of tears now, just not coping.

I’m pleased you have supportive pastors @Bow . That is how it should be.
I am going to get to church next Sunday as it was too hard today with Family here.

That's good you have support there @Bow
I did get some support there many years ago, but friends really let me down. So I've been isolating a lot.

I’ve been isolating this year too and I haven’t seen anyone from church since March when services went online. I just have to remember to register next week so I can go. I ran into my connect group leaders yesterday while I was out walking and just mentioned that it hasn’t been a good year so I suppose I’ll fill them in when I ask them to be contacts in my new safety plan.
I hope the afternoon is better for you @Bow @Former-Member
❤️❤️❤️

My church has only recently gone back to in person services, today was my first one and i don’t like it. It’s not church. Covid restrictions suck.
Sounds like you have good connect group leaders @Eve7 ?
