I should do some housework but bf and my boy will be watching the Bathurst race on tv so will probably just tidy and do bathrooms so no I don't make vacuum noise. Other than that I might pop to mum and dad's. I'm tired but I'd like to make the effort.

I love the Bathurst race @Anastasia and I have a special interest in it this year as a friend’s son is racing today.

I will have it on but won’t sit glued to it all day as I really want to read.

It is for his birthday coming up @Eve7 D got a room makeover when she turned a certain age so S is getting the same for his birthday. Sort of a milestone birthday age.

Can't say too much of course but hopefully he likes it.

great idea @Snowie and a good family tradition. I was allowed to choose my room colours in new home once and I chose yellow walls with a purple ceiling! A bit out there but looking back I'm grateful my parents accepted my choice.

He has chosen a nice bright colour so have just done an undercoat and will do a top coat whilst he is at school tomorrow.

Am exhausted after today and yesterday. Sitting down having a rest now.

I’ve almost finished one book but it’s been a bit triggering so I might start another that might be entertaining in a couple pleasant way.
