Re: Morning has broken

Glad something good happened @Eve7 and that you have some books from the library. I have not been to the library for a long time. Is it something you go to often?

A cuppa sounds great.

Have you got any plans for tomorrow?

Re: Morning has broken

I like to read @Snowie but concentrating is a bit Difficult. I read David Copperfield last week but today’s books are much lighter reading.

As you know nothing much happens in hospital on weekends so that’s why I got more books. I can watch Netflix in here when it’s not buffering.

The Coffee ☕️ is ready for us and I have some lemon meringue pie with my dinner so I’ll share that with you.

Re: Morning has broken

I find concentrating on books difficult too @Eve7 I find if I have read the book before then it is easier to read again, which helps a bit. I hope you enjoy your books hun.

No, not much does happen on the weekend in hospital. I just got out myself last week so know how hard it is in there.

Coffe and pie sounds yummy to me @Eve7

Re: Morning has broken

I reread some books on my iPad and found that easier than reading new books @Snowie

I even forget what I read in the forums and ask silly questions. Some people here must think I’m really stupid when I ask things that aren’t about them.

S1 is coming in later to watch the Lions with me. Are you watching the game?

@Eve7

I am sure no one thinks you are stupid hun, I forget things easily too. I think it is part of our Mental Health and with the meds we take.

I find I have forgotten a lot, especially since having ECT, so know what it is like to ask the same questions again and again and to forget things.

That is nice of S1 to come and watch the footy with you. I will probably watch some of the footy but don't think I will be able to stay awake for the whole game.

Re: Morning has broken

thanks for chatting with me today @Snowie I know you understand more than most. I will be having more ECT in a couple of weeks. Round and round I go again.

S1 is talking to one of the nurses about the NRL and I'm flicking between both games.

I hope tomorrow is calm for you. Did D get the job?

xoxo

Re: Morning has broken

Totally understand the more ECT hun. Think I will be having some more soon too @Eve7

I really hate how forgetful I become from it and how much I forget.

S has his birthday coming up so really want to try and stay out of hospital for that.

Glad S1 is there with you. I haven't watched much footy this year but watching tonight.

D hasn't heard about the job yet. Will get her to ring them tomorrow

Hoping tomorrow is good for you too hun.

Re: Morning has broken

Good night @Eve7 @Snowie 😴💓

Currently my teams are both on the wrong side of the ledger. Need them to turn things around .. and quickly.

Having no luck at all with this weekends NRL and AFL semis. Both my preferred teams lost last night, and not looking good tonight either.
