Lots of rain for the past 3 weeks and today the humidity is 96%!!!

Saw pdoc this morning and came home exhausted. I could not stay present no matter how hard I tried. She was very patient but I don’t know what happened. Came home and went to sleep. Sorry if this isn’t recovery focused but this is me.

I'm sorry to hear that you had such a difficult pdoc session. Not staying present can be so hard to deal with. Hopefully the sleep helped a little. These appointments can be so mentally and physically draining on us.

Glad today is going better @Eve7 Recovering from an appt. can take a few days.
My day is going ok. Saw mum and went to supermarket this morning. Beautiful day outside so washing sheets/towels!!

Mum forgets that I go and see her @Eve7 Today she said she hadn't seen me for ages but I was there 2 days ago.

I had a work colleague who used to go and shower her mother every day @Snowie only to be told “a nice lady showered me yesterday. She was so much kinder than you”! We would laugh but it was really sad. Dementia is cruel.
