I like all hot cross buns @Snowie and with butter but I limit myself to only eating them at Easter. I did cheat this year though.

You have to have them with butter @Eve7! Makes them taste so much better.
I normally have them only at easter too.
I've been good this year, didn't even buy any chocolate!!

I haven’t bought any chocolate either @Snowie as I’m trying to lose weight before I go away.
i am having a very lazy day here doing nothing.

I did buy a chocolate egg each for the kids @Eve7
We don't really do easter anymore since they are older now. S is working Sunday anyway.
Having a lazy day here too. Been nice to not do anything. Just having a coffee and watching the footy.

I usually do a big Passover lamb meal for the family @Snowie but as half of them are sick I just couldn’t be bothered this year.
oi have nothing on tomorrow but Sunday I’ll go out with the girls for a walk and breakfast.

We just normally have fish and chips for tea @Eve7 Did when I was growing up too.
But we don't stick to 'fish only'. We always just ate whatever.
That sounds nice for Sunday. Hoping to have a sleep in!

I’m having fish and chips too @Snowie That’s what we had growing up but over the past few years we’ve done Passover instead.
I’ve done a bit of emptying my wardrobe and will do more tomorrow.

Growing up my family wasn't religious at all @Eve7 Even my grandparents weren't.
H wasn't either. We would get together at Easter with family on the Sunday, but wouldn't exchange anything.
I just used to buy my kids an Easter Egg and a toy/present.
Well done on the wardrobe hon 😁

The wardrobe still has a long way to go @Snowie but a start has been made 😂
I don’t think you need to be religious to eat fish on Good Friday…just a meal you don’t have to think about. Lots of people do it without being religious these days. Now to decide what to eat over the rest of the weekend!

No I don't think so either @Eve7
We eat fish often anyway. The kids do too. I actually love salmon.
At least it's a night that I don't have to cook!!
Well at least it's a start hon. Sometimes that is the hardest part.
