Sounds like a good idea to wait and go somewhere different @Snowie
My niece’s in-laws ski overseas every January and this year they went to Canada. They are looking forward to their grandson skiing but he’s only 6 months old so they’ll have to wait.

Never been to Canada @Eve7 It's on my list!
I would definitely go back to Japan though.
Both S and D were about 2 1/2 and we had them on ski's. They have both grown up doing it. Haven't been able to keep up with them since they were about 8!!
Are there any places you would go back to?

I’d go back to Romania @Snowie It is beautiful once you’re out of the city and not overcome with tourists. It’s also cheaper than the rest of Europe.
l really like London too but I have a feeling it might be different this time.
Your kids are lucky to have grown up skiing. I’m not very good at it but our boys were good as we took them when they were young. Niece’s partner started at 3 and was in the Winter Olympics.
I am off to training now so will talk later.

ok @Eve7 Out of fire danger for now. Cooler here today.
Went to a 2 hour books sale with D today. Every book was $2. Picked up quite a few or maybe a lot!!

Good on you @Snowie you can never have too many books. I’ve recently taken a lot to the book exchange in the local park.

Thanks @Snowie . My sister has sent me a photo of our demolished childhood home. All those memories are gone.
