Been thinking of you today, reading about the cyclone.

The surf would be big. Probably a good idea closing the beaches.

Have friends up your way that are getting ready too. They posted some pics of the beach near them. Massive waves.

You can't go past freshy warm baked bread. So yummy.

A friend of mine just posted a video of people out surfing…crikey!! They did have a JetSki nearby but still @Snowie

Gosh @Eve7 Even if I knew how to surf I wouldn't in big waves. I'm much more of a pool person.

Hopefully having the jet ski helps with keeping them safe. For the experienced surfer it is probably great conditions with the big surf!

My day ok, has been mostly a couch day.

Im about to spend some time on the couch too @Snowie and trying to stay away from more bread.

Id say those surfers do know what they’re doing and it would be exciting out there but way out of my comfort zone.

All the schools are closing until next week. I just hope we dont lose power.

I guess it's better to close everything, including schools. From what I've read they are preparing for the worst and hoping for the best. I'm sure the students don't mind however!

It would have been bed but had to get up and take S to school this morning. Couch is safe.

Its really eerie right now and very still outside so I guess we just wait and see what happens. My DIL is doing a tip run before it closes today so at least all the rubbish is gone. Nothing left to fly away unless the roof goes 😩

I heard that they were bringing in the ADF.

We’ve been told to stay home from now @Snowie Everything is closing and both my appointments for tomorrow have been rescheduled.
